I've been in San Miguel,CA for almost two weeks now.

When I first landed at LAX (Los Angeles International Airport) I couldn't even see where the city ended

I took another small plane to San Luis Obispo where I met my host family.

I also share a room with Ingo Simons, another foreign exchange student from Germany.

We all hang around just fine. Everyone is friendly and understanding.

I've gone to the beach twice to surf.

I couldn't surf yet so I use a boogey board instead.

It's a smaller board that you can lie down on instead of standing up in surfing.

My host dad surfs. He's really good at it. We also played a big kite at the beach.

School started on the 25th last month. This is my 2nd week at school.

I go to Paso Robles Highschool. Everyone in Paso Robles is really nice.
